Our Story
Hi. I’m Joe — the face behind Minne-SOAP-Ta… and unfortunately, the face that gave me rosacea, acne, redness, dry patches, and a personal vendetta against Minnesota winter.
Thirteen years ago, I moved to Minnesota thinking, “Cold? How bad can it be?”
My skin answered that question very loudly.
Between the harsh winters, dry air, and wind that feels personally offended by your existence, my skin struggled. Store-bought soaps and lotions either dried me out, made me redder, or smelled like something I’d clean a bowling alley with. The “natural” stuff wasn’t much better — it was either boring, ineffective, or smelled like a sad bowl of oatmeal.
So I did what any reasonable person would do:
I started making my own.
What began as a personal mission to calm my skin turned into Minne-SOAP-Ta — a line of natural, great-smelling products made by Minnesotans, for Minnesotans (and anyone whose skin has ever yelled at them).
Every product we make is crafted with skin-loving, thoughtfully chosen ingredients. No harsh fillers. No unnecessary junk. Just clean, effective formulas designed to keep skin healthy, balanced, and comfortable — even when it’s 10 below and the wind won’t quit.
